Talk about major, select Nordstrom retail locations are now fully stocked with some of the latest and greatest green beauty has to offer and I could not be more excited about this launch especially knowing that Nordstrom is one of the leading retailers! As you all know, one of the most frustrating parts about converting over to clean beauty is the fact that most products must be purchased online which can be a deal breaker for those that prefer sampling before they commit. Hush + Dotti Black Liquid Eyeliner by theorganicbunny on December 13, 2016January 3, 2017 A few of you have asked me about the eyeliner on in some recent photos and it’s this one by Hush + Dotti! I won’t say that I am super obsessed with this but, I do really like it a lot. I would say it’s a 9/10. My only complaint would be that it’s not solid jet black like I am used to, however, when layered it really does end up pretty dark and it’s not putting my health at risk. Â I also really love the applicator wand. It’s a nice, firm, tapered brush making application super easy, so, really, I do like this a lot, I’m just being my usual critical self… definitely check it out if you’re in need of a clean new liquid liner! Because this can be an overwhelming task, I find it works best to eliminate things one by one, once a week. Today’s topic? Chapstick! Because the seasons are changing and our lips are becoming dryer than ever, it’s easy to want to reach out for your favorite chapstick and slather your lips in some moisturizing ingredients. However, did you know that most conventional chapsticks found in drug stores or from promotional freebies are full of toxic ingredients with links to cancer, hormone disruptions, brain development, allergic reactions and more? Check out what is in this Blistex Complete Moisture chapstick! Octinoxate– This is a known and studied endocrine disruptor, shown to disrupt the endocrine, hormone, and thyroid with links to breast cancer. Oxybenzone– Known as Benzophenone-3, this helps other ingredients deeply penetrate into the skin with links to cancer.
