Cymbiotika’s Shilajit Review

Before I took the time to learn about this supplement, I was always very confused by it, so today’s blog will hopefully simplify the use of Shilajit, what it is, and most importantly, what it’s for! This is not medical advice, so always check with your doctor before adding a new supplement to your daily routine. Now, let’s just jump right into what it Is!

What Is Shilajit?

Shilajit, pronounced (shee-la-jeet), is a century-old, all-natural resin made from decomposed plants, often found in caves or rocks of the Himalayas. Shilajit is a very potent yet safe, complete trace mineral source, containing more than 84 carbon-bonded organic minerals that are easily absorbed by the body. It is also a rich source of fulvic acid, a compound that increases the delivery of the minerals into the cell, enhances the absorption of other compounds taken with it, and chelates and complexes inorganic minerals.

Shilajit is a whole food supplement that brings mineral balance to the body naturally and is especially great for detoxing, which is why I first was interested in it. During the summer months, shilajit is naturally secreted from high-elevation mountains in the form of tar. Most people reach for this for immune support, detox, brain fog or clarity, energy, or to reduce water weight.

Why Do You Take It?

Shilajit is often used in ayurvedic medicine and has many benefits for overall health and wellness, which is why I make sure to take mine daily. Because Shilajit is loaded with fulvic acid, it is a known anti-inflammatory known to be able to prevent several diseases potentially. It is even used as a dietary supplement to prevent Alzheimer’s disease due to its benefit to cognition. Another reason I take this each day is because it helps with chronic fatigue.

Researchers believe that Shilajit may lower the fatigue many experience while helping restore energy. When our cells cannot produce enough energy, supplements like Shilajit have possibly been found to enhance mitochondrial function.

Shilajit Can Help With-

  • Chronic Fatigue.
  • Detoxing heavy metals and other chemicals.
  • Memory, Clarity, + Focus.
  • Heart health should not be taken with active heart disease.
  • Increasing Sperm Count.
  • Soothing Aches + Pains.
  • Bone strength.
  • Anti-aging as it protects against free radicals + cellular damage.

Which Brand Is Best?

The form of Shilajit that I love is by Cymbiotika or Rya Organics, as they are the purest forms of Shilajit that look like black tar. The only difference between these two is that the Rya option also contains CBD! It sounds scary, I know, but it’s really not! Cymbiotika’s Shilajit Black Gold Live Resin® is a complex mineral nutrient sourced from high elevations in pristine parts of the world. Containing 84+ minerals, our pure Shilajit Resin is rich with fulvic acid, humic acid, vitamins, enzymes, tocopherols, bioflavonoids, antioxidants, and metabolites for your body. This is the most powerful adaptogen on the market and contains the world’s highest gold content.

How To Take It-

Shilajit can be taken with or without food, but for some, taking it on an empty stomach may be too intense of an experience, so it is best taken with food. Consume with meals or with your coffee/tonic beverage.

Dose To Take- You can take 0.5 – 1.0 grams per day and up to 1.0 – 2.0 grams for athletes. The dosage may be increased according to your needs. It can be taken daily, in the morning or at night. Using the small scooper, measure out your desired dose of Shilajit resin. Place into a cup of warm water, tea, or coffee to dissolve as a healing elixir. The black sticky substance will slowly melt into your water; from there, you can sip it up!

Taste-wise, you would think it tastes as terrible as most pill forms; however, the resin form does not taste bad at all. To me, it tastes like a thanksgiving tea, sort of botanical; rosemary meets black pepper? It is not bitter or pungent, and I can sip it just fine. I actually think it’s more enjoyable to take than the pill form, which can be very bitter.

So, I think that sums Shilajit up in a nutshell; hopefully, this blog helped you better to understand all of the amazing benefits of Shilajit, and hopefully, it helps you decide if it’s something you’d like to add to your daily wellness routine or not! 1. Thank you for sharing. I have been curious about it for some time. Your tasting review made it extra helpful.

  2. I love the cymbiotika shilijit! I make a water bottle and drink half in the morning then the rest after lunch. I don’t get the afternoon sluggys! Sadly, I forget to make a bottle some mornings and I always get the afternoon drag.
Highly recommend and I’ve tried a lot of supplements for natural energy 🫢
