Did you know that using your computer or phone for just 60 minutes can cause skin damage? As in, it literally causes cell shrinkage and death which accelerates the aging process? Yes- your devices can cause you to age faster! 🥹 Comment “BLUE” for what I’m doing to protect my skin! I had no idea! ⚡️ Thankfully, they DO make products that actually block your skin from absorbing the blue light but the downside is, most of them are toxic as well. But, lucky for us, I found the holy-grail solution and now, this is part of my daytime skincare routine, every. single. day! 🙌🏻 This serum is not only beyond stunning, with sparkly 3D petals to reflect the blue light but it also serves as the prettiest primer ever to give you an all over glow. I am actually obsessed and wish I found this sooner! 🌸 This also protects skin from photoaging damage from constant screen use, especially for those exposed more than 4 hours a day, all while minimizing fine lines and wrinkles with long term use. ✨ For those of us who had NO CLUE, and who have been baking their skin in blue light for decades now, this also contains a renowned brightening Peptide that can help diminish hyperpigmentation, even out tone and texture while firming the look of skin over time. Give me a follow for more tips! @organicbunny Yesterday, I reviewed the Armani foundation all to find FOUR silicones, Parabens, Plastic, Phenoxyethanol and Fragrance... ⁣Wondering why I avoid those? Read below!⁣ ⬇️ ⁣ 🚨CYCLOPENTASILOXANE- This makes the foundation silky smooth, but it is a possible hormone disruptor and irritant with links to cancer when tested on animals. If you have sensitive skin, this can irritate you.⁣ ⁣ 🚨DIMETHICONE- This is a silicone that can dry out the skin. Those with dry skin should keep an eye out to see if their skin becomes more dry and flaky after use. Silicones create a film over the skin that is hard to remove. This can lead to build up which can then lead to acne or clogged pores.⁣ ⁣ 🚨PEG-10 DIMETHICONE- Another silicone. See above.⁣ ⁣🚨DIPHENYL DIMETHICONE- Another silicone. See above.⁣ ⁣ 🚨PHENOXYETHANOL- A preservative often used to replace parabens with links to eczema, hives, inflammation and life threatening allergic reactions. Most SPF on the market contains chemical forms of sunblock that have various links to hormone disruptions and more so today, be sure to check your favorite SPF for the following ingredients! 🕵🏻⁣ ⁣ Be sure to follow me at @organicbunny and then comment “SPF” and I will DM you my faves for face, body and glow! You have to follow me to get the link! 📲⁣ ⁣ Here is what to check your SPF labels for!⁣ ⁣ 🚨Avobenzone⁣⁣- When studied Avobenzone has shown it can block the effects of testosterone in cellular studies with links to disrupting the endocrine system and hormones.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🚨Homosalate⁣⁣- This chemical SPF also showed that it can penetrate the skin and disrupt hormones.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🚨Octisalate⁣⁣- This also absorbs through the skin with links to dermatitis and skin irritations. If you are dermatitis prone like I am, you want to avoid this one.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🚨Octocrylene⁣⁣- This also absorbs in the skin with links to hormone disruptions, reef damage and being laced with carcinogens.⁣ ⁣⁣ As you can see, the above 4 chemical SPF options are just not worth the risk, especially when way cleaner and just as amazing products exist. ⁣You also want to check your SPF for:⁣ ⁣ 🚨Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance, Silicones like Dimethicone or Polymethylsilsesquioxane, PEGs, PPGs, and BHT!⁣ ⁣⁣ Want to know what I use instead? Here is why I would NOT use Divi hair line. If you are new to my videos, my name is Amanda and I read the labels of your favorite beauty products so you don’t have to and then, I offer you cleaner alternatives! ☺️ Give me a follow for more clean beauty tips! @organicbunny⁣ ⁣ Common “VOLUME” for what I’d use instead!⁣ Make sure you’re following me to get it!🍃 ⁣ In the Divi Volumizing Conditioner I found: ⁣ 🆘 Lake Dyes- Synthetic dyes are often made from coal tar or petroleum, that may contain heavy metals that can be absorbed through skin that then can accumulate in the body to cause oxidative stress and neurodegenerative diseases. Some studies show that some dyes may have mutagenic, and carcinogenic effects. Some dyes also have links to contact dermatitis or dermatological disorders.⁣ ⁣ 🆘 Phenoxyethanol- A preservative often used to replace parabens with links to eczema, hives, inflammation and life threatening allergic reactions. When infants were exposed to it, it showed nervous system disruption. ⁣ ⁣ 🆘 Polyquats- Not a silicone but they bind the hair to cause build up, more tangles and a dull or stringy appearance. They usually do not rinse off the hair. If you have curly hair or fine hair especially, you want to consider avoiding Polyquats.⁣ ⁣ A few of their other products contained Fragrance and Amodimethicone so for me, there is just no reason to use a line like this when I have other favorites that work just as well, without any of the above! ⁣👏🏻 ⁣ To see what Volumizing Conditioner I would suggest instead, comment “VOLUME” and I will send you over my current hair routine! Are you using an SPF powder? Silicones form a film all over your skin which can actually enhance wrinkles and fine lines as you now have a thick coating accentuating them!⁣ 😣 ⁣ Wonder why your fine lines seem so much worse? This could be why! Silicones also prevents your skin from naturally exfoliating off dead skin as it’s essentially trapping everything in. Yes, even dirt, oil, debris, bacteria and more, hello acne!⁣ 👹 ⁣ I simply despise silicones and avoid them like the plague. Sadly, the ColorScience SPF is loaded with them! Here are just a few they contain, check your labels ladies!⁣ ⁣ ❌Dimethicone⁣ ❌Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer⁣ ❌Dimethiconol/Propylsilsequioxane⁣ ❌Methicone⁣ ❌Triethoxycaprylylsilane⁣ ⁣ SuperGoop also contains silicones.👎🏻⁣ Ciele also contains silicones.👎🏻⁣ Fenty also contains silicones.👎🏻⁣ Bare Minerals does not but they do use dyes.👎🏻⁣ ⁣ So, what are we using instead? I FINALLY found a clean option with NO silicones! Just mineral SPF and mineral pigments, and... it’s stunning on!⁣ 😍 ⁣ Comment POWDER and I will send you a link to my #1 top pick! Everyone loves the Supergoop Glowscreen SPF but, have you taken a peek at the ingredients? 🫣 Not only does it not use mineral SPF (the safer kind) but it also contains silicones which can trap oil + debris and cause breakouts. ⁣ Comment “SPF” for a way cleaner dupe! 🙌🏻 ⁣ Healing hormones has been trending lately, which is great, but don’t forget, we must make sure our beauty products aren’t full of hormone disruptors, too and sadly this product is full of disruptors.😖 ⁣ Not sure why to avoid chemical SPF? Let’s review the types found in this goop SPF! Let’s swap out MAC’s Creme Cup lipstick!
