Petit Vour Anniversary Box Review
I have had a subscription to Petit Vour for a few months now and I can honestly say it really is a great one to have! I’ve tried out a handful of boxes and this is one of the few I would recommend to my readers. If you are not sure what Petit Vour is, I wrote a previous blog about it here, but if you are up to date with them, here is my review on this month’s 2 year anniversary box!
Before I got my box, I did notice there was a lot of chatter on the net about people being disappointed with the color of lipstick that came in their box, and while I know some colors are not ideal for everyone, I imagine it is hard to please everyone with something like lipstick. The entire purpose of these boxes is for you to sample items at a discounted cost, before you pay full price on them. So, while not every product may be the perfect shade for you, you can at least see how they apply, feel on and last. With that being said, here are my thoughts on the box!
Zabana Essentials Dry Shampoo-
This dry shampoo actually does work really well, even on my brunette hair, however, my hair was pretty dirty when I tried it so I ended up putting it back in a cute messy bun. I personally would not use this on super dirty hair to wear my hair down again, but I would use this on dirty hair you want to re-style into a cute ponytail or messy bun. It was a bit light for my brunette hair, but again, since I put it up in a bun the color was fine.
Nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub-
I loveee anything with shimmer so this Shimmer Scrub got an automatic A+ from me, but then I used it and whoa, I am beyond OBSESSED! Not only does this leave your body glistening and smelling delicious, it also makes exfoliating way more fun because of how pretty it is! I loved using this on my body to exfoliate, it certainly did what it’s meant to do- removed my dead skin, all while doing so glamorously. I will re-buy this again and again.
Organic Lipstick by Lippy Girl-
I guess I got lucky because I was happy with the color I got in this month’s box! I received the color Schmoopy and feel it’s a really nice nude/pinky color. This lipstick applies a bit on the heavier side but was definitely hydrating while delivering a nice dose of color. I would say that the color is a bit on the lighter side and will probably be used more as a tinted chapstick for me, versus an actual lipstick. These lipsticks are organic, cruelty-free and natural.
To be honest, I don’t love toners so I haven’t tried this yet but I will soon!
How to Sign Up!
Overall I thought this month’s box was fun and I really enjoyed trying these items out! I’ve liked all of their boxes to date, because they allow me to try out new, safer products for just $15 a month, which is an amazing deal and if you are into non-toxic beauty products.
