Monee Cosmetics Skin Care Review

About a month ago I got my hands on some of the skin care items from Monee Cosmetics, and after using them for a few weeks now, I am back with a review! While I am still testing these products out for their long term results, I can give some immediate feedback on my overall experience, as well as highlight some of my favorite features of the line.

Seaberry Cleansing Lotion-

This Seaberry face wash is one of my go-to washes as it lathers really amazing, cleans thoroughly with just one wash and does not leave my face feeling dry afterward. I also really love the delicious ingredients in this wash, made from Blueberries, Olive Oil, Organic Cranberries, Raspberry Seed Oil, Sea Buckthorn Oil, Tea Tree Oil and more, this wash really does soothe the skin while smelling naturally amazing.

My favorite features of this wash is it’s easy to use pump, it’s ability to cleanse thoroughly, with just a small amount and without drying out the skin, and that it is 98% natural and 72% organic.

Berry Beauty Elixir-

After cleansing my face each morning with the Seaberry Cleansing Lotion, I like to follow up with this Berry Beauty Elixir every few days or so. I do not like toning every day because this can feel a little drying, however if you do like to tone each day, you certainly can use this daily as it’s gentle enough.

With ingredients like Witch Hazel, Aloe Vera, Green Tea, Blueberry, Oregon Grape and Bayberry, you can surely expect happy, balanced skin after regular use of this product.

Seaberry Hydration Cream-

This Seaberry Cream is a light, but powerful moisturizer combining advanced antioxidants with the anti-aging benefits of Squalane, Phospholipids, and Peptides. After cleansing and toning with the above products, I like to finish off with this lotion before my makeup each day. I do have a hard time finding a lotion that sits well under my makeup and this one surely does the job.

Made from Green Tea, Blueberry, Cranberry, Squalane, Glycolic Acid and Aloe Vera, this is one very hydrating, well performing day cream.

This lotion is 97% natural and 72% organic, however, it does contain things like Glycolic Acid and Sodium Hydroxide which can be skin irritants to some. Please review the full ingredient list of all products here, and decide for yourself if it will work well for you.

Seaberry Hydration Masque-

As you know, I normally do not like face masks, so when find ones that I actually do like, I have to share them! This mask is different than any I have tried before, as it is a creamy mask that doesn’t really harden, that can also be used to exfoliate after you let it sit on the skin for 15 minutes or so.

I really love when I can feel masks working {I love the tingle!} so for me, this mask was one of my favorite items from Monee Cosmetics. This mask was also the most natural item they offer, being made from 99% natural and 70% organic ingredients.

This Seaberry Masque combines free radical superhero fighters Blueberry, Cranberry, Oregon Grape and Cayenne with anti-aging benefits of Glycolic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides to give your skin boost, lift, and spectacular shine!

Some people express concern when seeing ingredients like Glycolic Acid, however, this is used to reduce sebum and to create a better balance for the skin. Naturally our skin is more acidic, so using ingredients like Glycolic and Lactic Acid, it helps create a more balanced PH level.

Overall this line is awesome, so, if you are in the market for a safer skin care line this is one I would suggest you check out! If I had to pick one favorite item from this line to try out, I would say it’s their Seaberry Masque, as it’s a unique masque that is fun to use, while delivering superb results.

  1. Hi Amanda,
I’m glad you enjoyed this skin care line. I’ve been meaning to ask, have you tried nude Skincare? It’s the brand that inspired me to switch all my toxic products. I discovered it when I ordered something from Sephora and the package included a sample of Nude. I fell in love and today it is the ONLY thing distributed by Sephora that meets my standards. It was also great because when I made the switch I had $100+ in Sephora gift cards/credit so it’s great for girls who are making the switch but can’t find anything at Sephora anymore. Check them out
